Instructions for Authors

Call for Papers

Contributions are invited on subjects within the Conference Scope and also on other relevant subjects.

Submitted papers must be of high quality, original and not published elsewhere or submitted for publication during the review period.

Papers will be reviewed by members of the International Programme Committee and depending on their standard, attributes, and reviewer recommendations, may be selected for oral or poster presentation, and publication in an appropriate medium.

Full Papers

Full papers may be submitted for consideration for inclusion in the conference proceedings, following peer-review by at least two referees.

The proceedings will be published in a special edition of InImpact: The Journal of Innovation Impact.

InImpact is an open access publication with no fees for reading or downloading the papers. Authors assign the publisher the right to publish the paper, but apart from this, keep rights to the paper themselves.

Complete, full-length papers (not abstracts) must be provided for review in the case of papers intended for the proceedings.

The guide length for Full Papers is eight to 12 pages (approx. 4000-6000 words). Longer papers will incur an additional charge. Papers much shorter than the guide length should be submitted as Short Papers.

Authors of selected papers may be invited to submit extended versions of their papers for publication as book chapters in a published volume.

Short Papers

Authors may choose to submit a contribution for presentation without the submission of a full paper. In this case, a Short Paper in the form of an abstract, guidelength one to four pages, summarising the subject and content of the talk, should be submitted. Short Papers will be published online.

Format to be used in Paper Preparation

Papers to be submitted for consideration for the conference should be formatted according to the instructions provided here. Papers that are not in this format will not be considered.

Submission of Papers

Submissions must be uploaded onto the PROSE online submission and review system..

Papers must be submitted as a PDF document for review. If accepted, a full set of publication files in MS Word must be provided.

Publication Files

Once a paper (Short of Full) has been accepted for InnovationKT it is necessary to upload onto the PROSE review system the set of files to enable it to be published. Authors will receive an email from the PROSE review system asking for the upload of these publication files.

Registration

All oral and poster papers must be presented by one of the authors who must register for the conference and pay the fee. By submitting a paper you undertake that you will attend the conference and present the paper if it is accepted. By submitting a paper you also indicate that you accept the conference Terms and Conditions, available by request or on the conference web site, and that you agree to abide by them.

Presentation at the Conference

All papers (Full and Short tracks) will be accompanied by an oral presentation (15 minutes presentation time and 5 minutes for questions) or a poster presentation.
